Mykea Fairweather Perry is a bi-racial filmmaker from South-East London, studying as one of ten directors at the National Film and Television School. He is a recent graduate of Ravensbourne university and a Sundance fellow. His passion for directing lies within telling real world, personal stories. Giving voices to characters we don’t see enough of on screen. His recent projects have gone on to screen internationally at BAFTA and BIFA qualifying festivals.  Mykea is currently being mentored by director Ben Taylor (Sex education) and producer Theo Barrwoclough (through the Sundance institute).

Mykea is currently pursuing a slate of ambitious short films whilst penning his first feature film.

Things Mykea likes; making films, playing rugby, writing. Things Mykea does not like; writing bio’s in third person.
